Dutchtown

We love our South Side neighborhood. That’s why we’re getting married here. We hope you enjoy your visit and maybe take some time to look around. If you’re looking for food or drink before or after the wedding, we have a few suggestions in and around the neighborhood.

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard is located at 4224 South Grand. Don’t expect the lines you see at the Chippewa location.

Urban Eats Café at 3301 Meramec offers coffee, tea, and grab-and-go wraps and sandwiches.

Original Crusoe’s at 3152 Osceola is famous for fried chicken and comfort food. The attached Patrick McKeane’s Pub has a good selection of cheap drinks and is open til 3am.

The Haunt at 5000 Alaska has cold, cheap beers with a neighborhood bar meets haunted house vibe.

Cherokee Street is just a few minutes to the north. There’s dozens of taquerias, bars, shops, and more. We’d recommend Taqueria el Bronco (2817 Cherokee) for Mexican food (Lori says get the queso dip). Earthbound Beer (2724 Cherokee) is our favorite place to drink on Cherokee.
