The Black Panther and Moana events were geared towards children and families in the neighborhood. Both events were quite successful, drawing high numbers of locals that were new to events hosted by DT2.
To reach audiences less likely to have internet access at home, eye-catching posters were produced and placed in storefront windows throughout the neighborhood. Flyers were distributed at local venues and door-to-door.
The Dive-In movie featuring Splash was an adults-only fundraising event that brought in $7,000 for improvements to the Marquette Park Pool. The event was promoted heavily on social media and via email lists.
